Do Wonders is a non-profit charity organization formed to donate gently-used wigs to ladies with cancer who cannot otherwise afford one. Lillian Lee Salon collects the wigs from women in the community and then cuts and styles these wigs to suit the client at no cost to them. If needed, the wig can be resized on the spot as well.
“I understand the emotional stress of cancer and strive to treat you from the outside to lift your spirits and help heal you on the inside.” – Lillian Lee
Over the years we have donated hundreds of wigs to women and girls undergoing chemotherapy, giving them not only hair, but a feeling of well-being.
You can read about some of Lillian’s work with Do Wonders on Teaneck Patch, The Bergen Record, (where she has been featured twice, as a matter of fact,) The Examiner, The Jewish Standard, Zooey Deschanel’s I Heart Heros, The Jewish Link of Bergen County, and more. Cancer patients are referred to Lillian not only by word of mouth, but also by the American Cancer Society, Tomorrow’s Children at Hackensack University Medical Center, Gilda’s Club, Holy Name Medical Center, and Sharsheret.
